Basically a
Pediatrician. She had training in
epidemiology from Mc Master University,
Canada. She was the Head of the
Department of Epidemiology in the
Tuberculosis Research Centre working for
25 years in the field of TB control and
epidemiology.

Her special area of
interest is tuberculosis in children and
have several publications in that field.
She is also keen in child survival in the
context of primary health care and
currently working on IMCI guidelines. |
